M&M's World in London's Leicester Square has revealed animated digital signage in its store window. The computer animated (CG) 3D display features moving imagery which is projected onto blank M&M's bottles and is visible in the daylight as well as after dark.
The digital signage can be remotely updated with fresh content, which is automatically re-mapped using saved 3D mapping settings of the blank bottles. The DisplayMapper software also provides users with 3D drawing tools so bespoke displays can be mapped onto any surface – users identify points on the content that is to be projected and match them to the relevant points on the intended projection surface
